Project Brief

Over the last two years, Zero Gravity’s platform has undergone a redesign exercise with a new component library built up from scratch according to brand guidelines, and it has expanded its offering by adding various features such as mentoring goals, community, opportunities, masterclasses, AI Coach and more. We now believe the platform needs to be optimised to transform it into a more intuitive and engaging platform to achieve the ambitious results we aim for in 2024 and beyond. We aim for a platform that genuinely represents Zero Gravity's ambitious and inspiring brand. The desired outcomes of this project are:

  1. High-level platform Information Architecture
  2. Low-fidelity prototypes of the new UX (end-to-end member experience for all members - school students, uni students, professionals)
  3. High-fidelity design of some key features to showcase improved UI

2024 business strategy

Zero Gravity aims to become a revenue-busting social impact unicorn by maximising member and partner value.

Strategy to maximise member value:

  1. Acquisition: Monopolise the pipeline of potential Zero Gravity members
  2. Activation: Get members to feel the "Zero Gravity effect" as quickly as possible
  3. Retention: Compound the personal development of Zero Gravity members
  4. Result: Transform members' ability to secure top opportunities
  5. Attribution: Members attribute their success to Zero Gravity
  6. Revenue: Grant funders pay to extend Zero Gravity's impact

2024 product strategy

  1. Bring Community and content in-house – work in progress
  2. Revamped UX/UI to increase user engagement – this is the focus of this project
  3. Employer dashboard to increase revenue – coming up in late 2024
